Labor Day weekend in Blaine

Mom, dad and the kids left the city with a car fully packed. Dad and I spend over 30 min shuffling things around so we could fit it all in the car. We picked up Ella from school at noon since they had early dismissal. Had lunch at her fave Mexican spot and then hit the road. The kids were good and slept. Ella was up for the last hour but just watched Daniel in the back.

First day/night is always a learning experience. Rhys woke up Ella and we kissed naps so I ended up spending two hrs trying to put kids down for naps. Nobody believed Ella would go down for a nap since she was completely wired, but she and I proved them all wrong and she slept for almost 2 hrs! We wondered if she would just open the door when she woke up, since all the doors were easy to open and so she did!

There were lots of time spent at the beach and pool.
