Ella played hooky

Ella’s been missing me (when she’s not mad at me), so I decided to pull her out of school and take her to the zoo with Tia and her cousins.

(Notice Ella with the crackers on several of the pics…)

Kids Got Their Passport Pictures

Went to Costco and got Rhys’s and my pics taken for my put Brazilian passports. Dressed him up and fed him right before snapping pics, so his turned out well.

Ella’s, on the other hand, did not turn out so well. I took her to Bartell’s after school. She didn’t want to be left alone in front if the white screen and cried. Even the cashier came out and tried to distract her with toys, but Ella was having none of that. iPhone didn’t work either. I guess she (and by “she” I mean “I”) will have to live with that passport pic for 10 years…

And Rhys has rolled over

Woke up this morning and checked the monitor to find this:

But don’t worry daddy, I missed it too since he did it at night…

Been meaning to post a few video of Ella playing with Rhys

A Lovely Day at the Farmer’s Market

I’ve suspected for a long time that Ella is afraid of Kendy. Maybe because Kendy always greets her with a big bear hug that could be confused with a WWE neck choking maneuver. Or maybe it’s because K insists on telling Ella to “sheat down” down all the time, while pushing her shoulders down to make her sit down. Or again, maybe it’s because every time Ella wears her sandals that have a flower embellishment,  K drops down and crawls trying to touch her shoes. I’m not sure; Ella loves Tia and Gaunt (aka Grant), but Kendy is not her fave. At least not until today…
