All I Got is Two 5s…

So about a month ago Kelly and I crossed the Thai border into Laos yada yada yada and ended up having to wait a few hours before boarding the slow boat.

I thought,”What a great time to break open that deck of cards my fatjer gave me before leaving and play some solitaire.”

I pulled the cards that I had been carrying for the last month out of the backpack and placed them on the table…

Deck of Cards

Deck of Cards

And then I flipped them over and starting going through them,. When I ran across like 6 jokers I got a bit nervous. My concern was validated when I laid them out…

All 9s

All 9s

All 38 cards were 9s, except the 6 jokers. What the heck? What do I do with this? If I had 52 cards, at least I could write new uites and number on them, but with 38 it is pretty much worthless. Got any ideas?

  1. Do magic tricks. Have strangers pick a card… then guess that the card is a nine. It will be amazing and you can make enough money to buy a real deck of cards.
