Congrats, Kelly & Seno!

Kelly finished her third and final marathon on Sunday, completing the NY ING Marathon in 4 hours and 24 minutes! Kelly worked very hard to train for this marathon, sometimes getting up at 4 or 5 in the morning on a Thursday to run 20 miles before heading to work so that our weekends were still free to spend with friends and family. This is also the fastest marathon she has ever run. Nice work, Chowster!

Her friends Hoa, Mike (came from Seatown and SFO) and myself went down to Brooklyn, up to Spanish Harlem and over to Central Park to see her run and cheer her on. She never looked exhausted and even stayed out late last night as we celebrated her and Seno’s race with multiple beers and bacon wrapped hot dogs and dinner at Jimmy’s #43, Crif Dogs, and Bua.

Kelly will post pictures and the whole story later.

  1. Congrats Kelly!!! That is so awesome.

So, is this your last marathon or did I read that wrong: “third and final”?

  2. Congrats, Kelly! Great job on finishing under your goal of 4:30. I can’t wait to see the pics.
