Seattle Update

It’s been a crazy few weeks, but I was finally able to really enjoy beautiful Seattle. Some highlights (and lowlights);

1) getting stuck in MN and having to spend the night there, after my connecting flight got delayed by FOUR hours

2) Eva and Billy’s wedding. Amazing. Chic. Expensive. Photos to come

3) Spending lots of time with my cousins from Brazil. Love them. Miss them. I shall see you soon, guys.

4) Visiting with various favorite peeps in Seattle: my sis and bro-in-law (who have kindly let me stay in their wonderful basement for the duration of my trip), seeing my parents, my MS peeps, the Revolution girls, 5;30 am runs with Hoa, catch up dinner with A, and some upcoming mommy/baby visits (Heidi and her lil’ Lucia and then Vaishali and Ari), Megan and Jon’s wedding in Spokane, dinner with Barb and Michael and Fuj, a couple of laid-back nights with Cyrill and Dawniel and of course, another amazing meal at Jen and Chris’s, happy hour with Kokes and Corinne, dinner with Bea and Nadja, dinner with my running buddies:  Viv, Hoa and now Holly!

5) Gorging on some of my favorite and very-much-missed Seattle food: from Red Robin and Taco Time (a more upscale version of Taco Bell) to the Green Leaf.

I still have two weeks left (still wondering how my boss let me work from Seattle for one month!), so I’m looking forward to more adventures in this beautiful city.

Meanwhile, Diesel will be in NY watching the Olympics. HAHA.
