My Life as a Lady of Leisure

housewife…is coming to an end. Today I accepted an offer for a job, and I’ll be starting on Monday. Funnily enough, my new employer is based in Seattle, so I’ll be there next week, just not sure how long.

Goodbye aerobics class in the morning, goodbye luncheons with the girls on Park Avenue, goodbye afternoon trips to the spa and/or museum, goodbye Oprah Winfrey Show, goodbye spontaneous afternoon shopping sprees…I shall miss you all.

  1. I wanted to say congrats but when you put it like that I feel sorry for you for having to accept a job b/c life sounded way more fun when you listed all that you had to say goodbye to… 😉

Either way – congrats! See ya soon!

  2. Congrats, Kelly! Oprah aside, I’m glad things worked out!

  3. Just wanted to drop a note of congratulations! Sounds like the break was fun though!

  4. Thank you all for the notes of encouragement!
