Churros and Hot Chocolate

We woke up late on Sunday after partying with one of Tarah’s friend. Tarah is my friend from Seattle of Urban Fashion Network fame, and she hooked us up with her friend Kenn, who was nice enough to invite us orphans to his birthday party. He and his friends met at a swanky club in Koreatown where the girls were all pimped out but the karaoke singers were still bad.

Anyhow, we went to 88 Orchard again to get coffee and read the Times. It was a very lazy morning until it was time for lunch. We decided to go to Boqueria because I had read an article on the Times last week all about churros and hot chocolate in NY, and Boqueria came highly recommended. The place is also supposed to have great tapas, so we were in for a treat. The brunch menu was quite limited. The food was pretty good, but not as good as Tia Pol, which we had gone to previously. The churros and hot chocolate were excellent though. Crunchy churros with gooey innards dipped into a wonderfully rich chocolate sauce!
