First Week

There’s no sense in writing everyday – it’s not like everyday will be exciting or something – so I’ll just tell you about our week. The move-in was exhausting and in the end we still didn’t have a tv, a real bed, or a dresser (and it turns out that when we opened the boxes, over half of the supplies we brought were clothes….*shocking*).

I also found out that those items are vital to a successful marriage…or at least the tv is.We watched a movie on my laptop but the tiny laptop speakers leave a little to be desired. So, after missing out on a great deal on a cute little white Samsung lcd we decided to buy one new from JR’s. You know JR’s…if you’ve ever read the NY Times then you’ve seen a JR’s ad. The rep even gave us a little break on the price after we broke in with our pleading.

So of course, we now have said cute little white lcd tv but no cable so we’re watching Felicity DVDs when we’re actually watching tv. Cable comes on Tuesday.
