Last night we were invited to go to one of Diesel’s friend’s work party. This said friend shall remain unidentified for reasons that will become quite obvious once you read this post.
Let’s just say that this guy is European and does not believe in this “American bullshit of being polite “(his quote). From my interactions with him last night, he also does not believe in tactfulnesss and has a complete disregard for other people’s personal space (read: he is always 1 inch away from your face). But the guy is damn funny and fun.
Anyhow, this party was for one of the major record label’s employees. But before you get too excited, I need to clarify that this was for the TECH DEPT.
After some commotion, the entertainment started. It was a cross between a futuristic, but cheesy go-go dancer and a pyrotechnical show. Diesel has some footage of this very bizarre act, which try as I may, I just cannot describe accurately:
As the party was wearing on and our European friend was bottoming up on his drinks, things started to get interesting. So Diesel ordered this special Mojito drink that came accompanied by a condom (apparently not weird at all in this city). Our Euro friend, now verging on becoming Euro-trash, started busting some moves while unwrapping the condom. Next thing we know he has the orange thing around his finger and is getting ready for what I thought was using it as a Q-tip in this random guy’s ear. But no such luck. That would have been too tame. Instead, he untangles it from his finger and in a swift dance move somehow manages to slip the thing into another random guy’s back pocket. The guy obviously had a girlfriend who was standing right next to him.
I can only imagine the outcome of his little antic. At best the couple will get into a fight over what appeared to be an used condom. At worst, they will have a bitter breakup where neither party will know what happened.
I can only imagine, but I dare not do so.
